It would indeed! I would very much agree with you. Buuuuuut... No, Subsistence isn't a remake, its the same game with some added feature (Like online play) A sort of Special edition, if you will. Yep. Looks like you need to read the posts. They DID NOT remake it.

Exactly! What the hell is the point of remaking a whole game with a better camera system, new camos, facepaint, etc. a year after it comes out? If you ask me, it sounds like the designers are desperate for some $$$! Not really, with the fanbase Konami could easily make a crappy volleyball sim with MSG charters and it would sell big.

How was that not a remake, Kirachus? IT WAS EXACTLY THE SAME! All except for a few added features, but ALL remakes have those! Listen; they remade Resident Evil so that it could be played on a Gamecube, and it was almost the same except for graphics and a few extra features. If that is a remake, then how isn't Substinence?

RE for GC is a remake, so is MGS1 for GC. Subsistence has a few extra features, not nothing is included in the game play. Under your logic, The new star wars box set must be a remake because its digitally remastered and had like 4 extra scenes.

I do believe we were talking about video games, not movies. If substinence isn't a remake, then tell me what you consider to be "remake" qualities.

Okay, well, Kojima released some poster art at E3, and it showed eight characters, and six are easily identifiable. All list those, now. Solid Snake Meryl Silverbyrgh(did I spell that right? It's been way too long...) Otacon Revolver Ocelot Vamp Raiden There's speculation on the other two. I've heard people say it was Big Boss, but after seeing the picture for myself, I say Solidus, most likely. Also, the last character is speculated as being either Naomi Hunter or Fortune. Sorry to say, but I haven't found out anything about the new model of Metal Gear for this one, either. I can't tell who the hell that last unidentified male is supposed to be, but I suppose Solidus is a good a guess as any. As for the Female who we hadn't identified yet, from what I can gather through my reconnaissance team, it's supposed to be an aged Eva. Of coarse, I have no backing other than vague rumors, but the possibility is certainly there.

Have you played metal gear for the NES? Or metal gear 2 for the same system? Metal Gear 2 was for the MSX, not the NES, unless you meant "Snake's Revenge." I a$$ume you didn't. Posted by musashi on Apr 20, 2005, 10:56am I mean, how the hell could you ever make a turn based fighting system in metal gear?! What the hell were they wmoking?!

I'm pretty sure it's the one where Meryl lives. After all, she does appear in #4
